PROMPT Prerequisites:

Required

Java 1.5 or greater,
R 2.0 (*) or greater
(*) instead of R, S-PLUS can be used alternatively.

Optional

NCBI Blast 2.2.1 or greater (blastall and formatdb binaries).

Developer versions

prompt_slim.jar

Only the *.class files of PROMPT without any external libraries. This version is recommended if you need to integrate PROMPT into an existing complex environment like a JBoss or Tomcat server.

Advantage: No conflicts with others JARs, Disadvantage: You have to check and if necessary install the external JARs on your own. All external JARs can be downloaded as one compressed file or as single files from below.

All external JARS put together in one compressed ZIP file.

prompt_javadoc.zip

Java API documentation as compressed zip file. Please note that almost all methods are defined and described in their respective Java interfaces.
